Jay Miller, a photographer living in Great Bend, Kansas.  I transitioned to digital photography in 2005.

Inspiration comes from my own backyard to all over the world. I love being outdoors. While growing up in central Kansas I was drawn to Cheyenne Bottoms Wildlife Area and Quivira National Wildlife Refuge. Two major North American Flyways for migratory birds. Both locations comprised viewing and observing birds,mammals,reptiles,insects, aquatic life and magnificent beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

I think of art expressed in not only the sights but the sounds, feelings, and smells to be translated to fine art images. Depression,dramatic,confussing and simple all emotions make my images come to life.  Editing reflects my influence of mood to the final piece.
